Cherry Valley Feeder 24-Ounce Plastic Strawberry Hummingbird Feeder

I have been using this model feeder for over 10 years. They do wearout eventually, but they last a very long time for the cost. They are easy to clean and use. The perch is the neatest feature. The hummingbirds seem to hang around longer when they can land on the feeder. I use 4 to 6 feeders to attract more birds.

I love the strawberry design with the flower feeding stations.
Have used this kind for years, but all the ones I have had in the past have had little white perches that hook on the flowers. This one had none, was dissapointed that they could not have put some kind of perch on it. My husband made some homemade ones, but not sure how they will hold up. I will keep looking for another, but will make sure it has perches before purchasing it. Will do with this I hope till I find what I want.

I had 4 feeders up when the hummingbirds started arriving this year. There were so many birds that I could hardly keep all of them filled (none of the feeders are very large) so I decided to add a couple more. I looked and looked through all the feeders offered on Amazon, since the hardware stores were all sold out. I thought these feeders would be great, since the bottle part is all red. I hung one up with confidence, knowing that the birds would love it.

They really have barely touched it. I don't know just why, but they don't seem to like it, for whatever reason. One of them would perch in a tree near it, and chase anyone else away who even tried to come up and get a drink, but then he or she gave up and none of the others touches it now.

I still like the look of the feeders and will try them again next season, but as for now, I gave them 3 stars because I like them but the hummingbirds don't.
