I purchased this feeder because it such great reviews. My experience wasn't as good but I think that it might be because the orioles had already "bonded" with my hummingbird feeder. No matter where I put the new feeder they wouldn't even try it. It did come in very handy later when the bees wouldn't leave the hummingbird feeders alone. It was so bad that the bees even chased the orioles away but then the bees found it easy to get into the oriole feeder and drowned when they couldn't get out. No more bee problem.

Aspects makes wonderful feeders. They are so easy to clean and can even be put in the dishwasher. I have many different feeders purchased over several years. I highly recommend them!

I was very excited to get this oriole feeder as I saw the same one at Wildbirds Unlimited. I figured it must be good if they sell it. Well, it is the worse feeder I have purchased. I agree with the other reviews that it's a bee trap. I hung it on the branch along with my other feeders and the birds never went to it. It did attract bees, flies and assorted other flying insects. I think the feeding holes are too large allowing the insect to get to the nectar. It's too bad it didn't have some sort of plastic inserts to keep the insects out. Oh, and the trap on the top to keep out the ants, didn't happen.
