Comment: I like this feeder because when you remove the base to fill it, the base splits into 2 pieces for easy cleaning. This is a very nice looking feeder that is the right size to allow the hummers to consume most of the necter before it goes bad. Nice hand painted flowers give an ordinary glass feeder a bit more decorative look.

Summary: Beautiful and the Birds seem to like it 2008-08-31
Comment: I have two feeders, the other isn't used by the birds. I saw them go to it when I first put it out, but I think the water was too hot and they never went back. This one they use everyday. I sit out in the morning with my coffee and watch the birds and the squirrels. I love it.
This feeder was easy to put together and fill. The parts that look brass are actually plastic, but they are threaded and well made. Everything fits together nicely, It hangs straight and secure. It's really pretty, much more so than I expected. I'm going to get the other shape by the same manufacturer because I enjoy this one so much. I'm glad I got it. It is worth the money.

Summary: Opus Hummingbird feeder 2008-05-28
Comment: UpDate: It's been out for a month and two of the flowers by the holes that the birds feed from keep falling off. I tried gluing them back on but they will not stay. I now see that is was originally held on by a rivet and that is not there so I do not know if the rivet failed or if it was a returned item that was made defectively and someone else glued it back on. It was past the 30 days return policy but amazon did refund anyhow. Always better to buy directly from amazon as the seller as they will take care of the service much better and faster than most sellers, especially when you have had it just over the 30 day return policy and these feeders were $18 each.
Original feedback:Beautiful feeder. Prettier than the picture shows. Holds about 1 and 1/2 cups of liquid. I just put it up next to another red feeder I have. Hope they use it. One person in feedback said they didn't but the rest said they did. I'll keep my fingers crossed. You can't use the long copper hook with the two ends that look like little gazing balls, actually marbles, until you get an "S" shaped hook to add it with. The long hook will NOT attach without the little "S" hook first so you can't hang it until you get that, it did not come with the feeder and I got two and it did not come with either. A little disappointing. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Summary: Good Looking Feeder 2007-11-24
Comment: I purchased this as a gift as I own the OPUS Looking Glass feeder which my hummers love and this one is similar, but smaller capacity. It appears to be well designed and properly fitted and the decorative hook is a thoughtful addition and I think that the funnel-top will be appreciated by the new owner. It is an attractive feeder and the hummers should be happy to use it.
