This item is not too shabby actually. Sure it doesn't have fancy glass, art, or designs, but I would be confident in saying the birds don't care much. The construction is very solid. It is easy to open and put food into. Pretty much a straightforward feeder, and at about $10 it's a deal. One thing that would have been nice would have been a couple of perches for the birds.

I absolutely love these bird feeders. They are very easy to keep clean. Larger bird feeders like these hold too much seed, and they easily get wet and mold. I have purchased quite a few of these smaller feeders, and I have not seen any wet moldy seed.
