It looks beautiful, but unfortunately the way the opening is located - the water level drops quickly below it even when there is plenty left. I did not get any birds, when my friend next door gets plenty!

This feeder is much more pleasing up close than it is from a distance. We hung it so that it could be viewed through a large window about 60 feet from where we sit. From that distance it didn't look like much. Moreover, the hummingbirds weren't crazy about it. They preferred the much-less-expensive plastic-with-red base-and-flowers to the sequin glass. We moved the sequin glass feeder to a liss visible spot and re-hung the cheaper feeder. The hummingbirds are back.

Although the glass makes this a rather dark feeder, the hummingbirds found it within three days. It is easy to fill and easy to wash. My only concern is the depth may make it difficult for hummers to get to all the food; thus, I expect to waste a bit of food each time.
