 Misinformation, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Birds Choice 3 Quart Forever Bird Feeder - Smokey The web page says that this is a "nyjer" feeder. The picture in the page also shows a nyjer feeder with a fine mesh screen that holds the tiny nyjer or thistle seeds that small songbirds enjoy. Imagine our disappointment when the shipment arrived and we opened the box only to discover large mesh feeders that are only suitable for sunflower seeds. Because of the large number of squirrels in our area we can't use anything but nyjer seed to feed the songbirds. These feeders are useless for us. Hopefully, the dealer carries the nyjer feeder so that we can exchange them. |
