Bird's Choice Recycled 10" x 10" Hanging Tray w/ Steel Rods

I have a problem with unwanted critters crawling around eating the seeds spilled onto the ground from my birdfeeders, but really did not want to do away with the feeders. After quite a bit of research, I saw this feeder and had the idea of placing a saucer inside so that the birds could feed from the saucer and the seeds would fall into the tray instead of on the ground. I use hot meat sunflower kernels, so the squirrels don't touch it. I have tons of song sparrows, house finches, chickadees, cardinals, bluejays and even robins who love this feeder! I'm considering buying another so that the birds don't have to crowd onto just one feeder.
