Piece of Garbage! Don't be fooled by rugged appearance,

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Rinky Dink design flaw or something. I filled it with nectar and immediately sticky gummy poured out the bottom all over my kitchen and hardwood floors, etc. A mini-Nightmare! I took this piece of garbage back to the home depot the next day for a full refund. Birdscapes should be ashamed! I'd give this 0 stars if I could.

Found this on clearance at a pet store. Excitedly brought it home and like previous reviewers watched 24 oz of nectar spill all over the kitchen. Filled it with clear water and tried to see if there was something I was doing wrong -- no, there's not much to do wrong other than how they manufactured it. Didn't think I should have checked reviews for a hummingbird feeder but lesson learned I guess. I won't buy another Birdscapes feeder at any price.

It's a nice looking feeder but it's the worst design I have ever used you waste so much liquid as it pours out when trying to close it and to unscrew it from the lightpost top it seperates in the wrong place. I'll be looking for a different one for next year this one is too mickey mouse; however, it does look nice and the birds like it. I would not recommend it.
