We ended up having to get the Humane Society guy out in the middle of the night. Because the squirrel's foot was wrapped around the wire inside the feeder, the Humane Society guy had to tear the bird feeder apart to rescue the little guy. The squirrel had a bloody foot, but was otherwise okay. And that was the traumatic end to that bird feeder.
