Avant Garden Standing/Hanging Birdbath
I bought this because I thought it would work well as a hanging birdbath. So far, the birds have stayed away from it. The chains do NOT link into the base, so they flop around every time you try to fill it with water, and the basin ends up falling on the ground. In general, it looks cool in the picture, but is not practical in the hanging application. The ground application seems too flimsy to hold up to much stress of other animals such as squirrels, that inevitably will come to try it out.

I wanted a small, shallow birdbath and so ordered this one. I use it on the stand but like the idea that I can convert it to a hanging style should I want something different. I'm very pleased with the quality and the appearance.

I love this little birdbath... it is a high quality product for a very reasonable price... I am using mine as a standing birdbath... But I like the fact that I also have the option of using it as a hanging birdbath as well... The decorative leaves and the 3 little birds on the birdbath add a pretty, artistic effect to it; I have planted flowers around the base of it...
If you are looking for a pretty, yet durable birdbath, I highly recommend this one... oh, and the birds seem to love it as well... simply beautiful... ~ Dee ~
