Brome 1015 Squirrel Buster Classic

Comment: We have 100 acres of woods behind our small back yard, so we have a big squirrel problem. I bought this birdfeeder about halfway through this past winter. The squirrels have done their best and have had to settle for seed that falls to the ground. It has definitely kept the greedy rodents out, and since I am not feeding six or eight squirrels every day I have been able to afford to offer a more expensive no-mess type of seed that the birds love. Also, I have a similar tube feeder in which the seed freezes up on super-cold days and the birds can't get it out, but with the Squirrel Buster Classic the seed has flowed freely even on wet winter days. I'm guessing this is due to its ventilation system. The top is very easy to get off and on and it is easy to fill and clean. It feels very sturdy and well made. I just couldn't be happier with this bird feeder and highly recommend it. I've tried various squirrel proof bird feeders and pepper flavored seed and nothing else has worked 100% like this bird feeder.

Comment: I am impressed. I had a cheapo tube feeder from the dollar store for over a year, which worked great until the squirrels found it. In a little over a week they chewed it open and destroyed it totally. Within hours of getting this model filled and hanging they were back again. They tried for several days to get into this thing, biting everything, hanging, jumping, reaching and all they got was a little on the floor to pick through. But, they couldn't get in and I haven't seen them for weeks. Superb problem solver.

Comment: This bird feeder is great. The squirrels have not been able to knock it down or get the seeds. It arrived quickly and was a great price. I would recommend this bird feeder to everyone.

Comment: I have three feeders up now, and this one gets the most visits. There are often 2-3 birds on it at at time. I think it is because the birds can see the seeds inside it. That is also helpful to me since I can see when it needs to be filled. There have been a couple of attempted squirrel raids but they were not successful. Overall, a great feeder.

Comment: Quality product and great customer service. The squirrels have given up and wait on the ground for handouts. The feeder paid me back in 3 months from seed purchase savings.

The nut that holds the main support shaft came loose and was lost just shortly after I received the feeder. Courteous customer service shipped out a replacement with no questions asked (other than to improve the product) and fast.

Just wish the product was made in the US or Canada given the purchase price.
