Brome 1015 Squirrel Buster Classic

Comment: Many of us are chasing the magic bullet to keeping the squirrels away from the bird feed these days. There are so many products out there and most are made very cheap regardless if they work or not. This one is fairly well constructed it's been in the back yard for 8 months now and still looks good as new. It does keep out Squirrels but more importantly it keeps out larger birds. The bigger birds tend to chase away the smaller birds that most put up feeders to attract.

Comment: This is a great bird feeder and I would give it 5 stars but the capacity is not so large. It needs refilled more often than some other feeders I have. It is easy to open, clean, refill and enjoy watching my feathered friends.

Comment: So far...so good. The seeds are definately lasting longer. The squirrels are still trying to figure it out while the birds are eating in between times.

Comment: I've owned this feeder for awhile now, and it's the only feeder I have owned which has actually lived up to its description of being squirrel-proof. The squirrels completely leave it alone once they figure out they will not be getting food out of it. The bar which keeps the squirrels away mechanically works very well by weight. I've seen it lower when 7 birds feed from it at once, but even then, they are still able to get the food. The cardinals also love this feeder. I have also seen woodpeckers feed from it. It is very durable with metal parts and hasn't seemed to be phased by the weather. I highly recommend this feeder.

Comment: Starlings love this feeder and the cardinals do not. We bought to keep the Starlings away, but they had no problem feeding and the Cardinals had nothing to do with it.
