I had wanted this birdfeeder for ages, but was having a hard time justifying the price. Recently I received a gift certificate at amazon, so decided to treat myself. It is very well made and fits in a standard window. I had hoped to put it in a larger one, but although according to the measurements - it should have worked, it was just a little too small. So, I changed windows and am enjoying it. after about 3 days and fresh bird food...the sparrows started coming. I expect there will be lots of other birds to follow, but the weather is unseasonably warm right now and there is plenty of available food. My 4 yr old granddaughter loves watching it, as do my 3 cats. Great entertainment and hopefully a good deed to the bird world.
