This pole section extends any of your Droll Yankees poles by 22-inch. This sturdy pole has a 1-inch outside diameter. A complement to your Droll Yankees Garden Pole, Ultimate Yard System, Ultimate Nest Box System, The Adjustable Deck Clamp, Pole and Hanger, Flower Garden Pole, Jagunda, Shepherd's Envy Pole or Ultimate Deck System. Use the Pole Section to extend the Ultimate Deck System,The Adjustable Deck Clamp, The Adjustable Deck Clamp, Pole and Hanger to the bottom rail of your deck enclosure for superb stability. The rust-resistant steel construction and durable black galvanized powder coating will stand up to the toughest elements and help keep the birds in your yard happy, season after season. Note - When assembling your pole, applying Vaseline to the engaging parts will prevent them from sticking together over time. Dimensions: 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 by 24 (assembled). Mounting: Slides onto another pole section. Construction: Galvanized powder coated steel.

This extender section to the Ultimate Pole System is easily installed. Beware though that the taller you make the pole, the more unsteady it becomes. This might be made better by being able to fasten the sections in more securely. I only needed to ad one section to make this tall enough to keep the cats from getting the birds, but that one section compromised the pole and made it lean.
