Droll Yankees PWRSTK Power Stick for Yankee Series Feeders

this power stick does not fit the charger that came with Flipper purchased 6 years ago (the pin that attaches to the charger is the wrong size). I called Droll Yankee customer service, was told that the "pin size" on the power stick had been changed and that I needed a new charger. They said that when they sell the power stick, they sell the new charger along with it.

March 21, 1020, amendment to review: I called Droll Yankee customer service again; they sent a correct charger to me at no charge. Now a 5 star item.

I had purchased a Droll Yankees birdfeeder several years ago and I loved it. Recently the motor died and I did not want to invest $100 plus for a new feeder. The powerstick works great!! It is easy to install and is just as good as it was when new.

It is SO much fun watching the squirrels try to get to the bird food and get tossed!!

This is much better than buying a new feeder.

Ordered power stick for Droll Yankee bird feeder. The feeder is great - keeps the squirrels off the feeder by spinning a wheel that the birds perch on. After 4 years the power stick failed, so we ordered a new one. After UPS lost it for a week, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the connection for the charger was badly designed - the center pin was too large, so the charger connector would not fit. I was about to return the stick, but took a connector from an old power supply, drilled out the center, and managed to get the charger to work. Not a happy solution, and the poor design of the replacement was a disappointment, but at least we are feeding the birds again and the squirrels can't get to the birdseed. Bottom line - great feeder, really bad replacement parts.
