A little too large,

Scoop is well designed, balanced, easy to handle, and you can fill it all the way up without worrying about the seeds spilling out.
However, it is a bit too large even for the 25 pound bags of seed. It will work and fit in the bag, it's just a tad too cumbersome.

This scoop is made of nice, heavy duty hard plastic. It is light but very sturdy. It scoops a lot of seed and has a nice non-spill feature that allows it to be set down when full. It is better than the scoops that have a push-button empty from the smaller side (I have found that these break after a year or two). Highly recommend this scoop!

The DROLL YANKEES seed scoop is awesome I love it!! It makes filling my 5 bird feeders a snap. If you have feeders you need the seed scoop. Get the scoop thats no Poop ;-}
