Add a birdhouse and feeders to a treeless yard with the Droll Yankees Ultimate Yard System. This all inclusive yard system is ideal for those without surfaces to use for a small birdhouse or from which to hang feeders and plants. The sturdy, 1 inch diameter, powder coated steel pole assembles easily to an 11 inch ground auger. Just screw the auger into the ground and attach the three 16 inch legs for stability. This permits pole installation without tearing apart your lawn to make large holes for posts. A mounting plate attaches to the top for easy mounting of a wood or soft plastic birdhouse with the included wood screws. A mounting ring at the midsection holds three 12 inch plant hooks to allow a variety of hanging options for your planters or feeders. The plant hook mount can be rotated, raised, and lowered at will for a variety of customization. Add a bit of charm to your yard with the Droll Yankees Ultimate Yard System.

We ordered the Droll Yankees Ultimate Yard System after comparing several feeder poles on Amazon and elsewhere. We wanted to mount it in one of our flower beds away from the house -- my husband was sick of sweeping up nyjer and sunflower seeds dropped on the patio by picky goldfinches. Overall, the system is very well-designed. The auger on the bottom of the pole is serious business, and the three legs really help stabilize the pole. The arms attach securely to the pole, and hold fairly heavy feeders without complaint. Four stars instead of five because the instructions are a bit cryptic -- wish there were more illustrations -- and because the pole still does wobble a bit. Perhaps this is inherent to any pole-based feeder system. At any rate, we're very happy with this purchase, and it seems like it will last a good long time. The birds are happy too.

We bought this feeder pole system for our 13 year old son. He put it together and installed it by himself without any problems. It is sturdy and stakes into the ground securely. He has three feeders on it at the moment and wants to add the top feeder for Christmas. We are very happy with it.

This is the absolute best system for handing bird feeders. It remains straight and balanced even loaded up with multiple feeders. It was a snap to assemble and install. Using the squirrel slinky made by Droll Yankees with this pole has made it the 'ultimate'!
