This waterer is small, but a good size to include with hanging birdfeeders. It does not work properly. The idea is that as the water evaporates or gets drank from the dish, the bottle dispenses the water to refill the dish. No water dispenses. I tried unscrewing the bottle but cannot loosen it enough to dispense water without it falling off. I go out and squeeze the bottle to refill the dish. I have not seen one bird use it yet either and it has been hanging for a month outside my kitchen window with a feeder. A dish waterer is really the only thing birds like.
