Heritage Farms 20-Ounce Bottle Hummingbird Feeder

This is similar to the wonderful but sadly no longer available Rubbermaid feeder - we've managed to keep a couple of those older feeders alive for some time now but the plastic is aging and they are near the end of their useful life. I have wanted to find a replacement and when I saw this Heritage Farms product I immediately ordered one based on the similar appearance to the Rubbermaid design. The advantage of this style feeder is in the ease of opening the base to allow thorough cleaning and this design is actually better than the old style. It's "the same but different". Another decided plus is the use of a Lexan type polycarbonate for the font - the weak spot of the Rubbermaid product was the use of a styrene type plastic that serves well for a couple of years then starts to yellow and get brittle and break down.
