This large, beautiful feeder features sturdy steel construction with a durable powder-coated finish. An 18 inch diameter dome shaped cover protects seed from weather and the large seed tray serves as a comfortable perch for a wide variety of birds. Drain holes help keep seed dry. Seed capacity is almost 2 gallons - about 10 pounds of wild bird mix and the interior of the feeder is sloped to direct seed to the feeding ports so all the seed is accessable to birds. Can be easily mounted on a 1-5/8 inch diameter steel post (like those used for chain link fence) or hang it from the heavy duty hanger ring in the dome.
