Can be adjusted to the width of your deck railing so it doesn't need to be permanently affixed to the rail. Nice size for all kinds of birds and squirrels to enjoy. Durable too. I've had this one for at least a couple of years now. Many of my larger birds prefer this feeder. I have a smaller, more traditional feeder for the finches and small birds.
