Comment: This hangs next to our triple tube feeder for all of those waiting in line. It is great because of the amount it holds and the raccoons don't seem to try to get into this feeder which is a god send!

Summary: Thistle Bird Feeder 2010-02-01
Comment: This feeder holds a lot of seed and is low maintainence. I fill it once a week. The birds love it! I have seen as many as 10 birds feeding at the same time. Right now, I have sparrows, but I look forward to finches and songbirds in the Spring and Summer months. (Study construction should last for years!)

Summary: Best thistle feeder ever! 2010-01-25
Comment: I have been feeding wild birds for over 30 years and this is by far the best thistle feeder that I have ever owned. The goldfinches completely cover this feeder when they come to visit. I have used numerous tube feeders over the years and the number of feeding stations has always limited the number of birds that can feed at one time especially as the seed level drops. This feeder has unlimited number of places for the finches to grab a bite and is much easier and quicker to fill.
It is very well constructed as are all quality products by Wood Link.

Summary: At Ease, Friends 2010-01-17
Comment: This feeder is amazing! My prime requirement was ease of cleaning. Previous feeders trapped seed in crevices that developed mold and re-infected the rest of the feeder soon after cleaning. No such crevices here! This seed supplier brought an unexpected bonus, though, that has surpassed the maintenance advantage. Because seed is available over the entire surface, birds are no longer required to space themselves with military precision. Many more birds can congregate in organic, attractive, flowing clusters. It's a joy to watch. This café hosts well over a dozen finches at a time with more waiting in the trees around and the ground below. This feeder is worth every penny! Thanks, Ozbo (the company that ships and sells this product).

Summary: Great product 2009-08-17
Comment: I was feeding birds via a thistle sock and going thru seed like crazy, most of it falling on the ground in a pile. I picked this one so it would hold the dropped seeds in the tray - not all have a tray. It's working like a charm. I used to go thru tons of seed but now I fill it up and it lasts for many months with about the same number of birds. Given the price of thistle, well worth the purchase. Of course some still fall to the ground, but small enough amount that the ground feeders get it. No more putting a bucket under the feeder!
