This feeder is great for small clinging birds. It solved the problem of unwanted pigeons hanging around. Unfortunatly some of the larger birds we liked,e.g. scrub jays, don't use it.

I ordered this after my cheap plastic tube feeder deteriorated in the sun after a few months. This feeder is fantastic. Kept it out all summer long and it's still the same color. There's no rust on it, and it's easy to keep clean. The little birds seem to like it - it does confound the doves (who can't quite fit on it, but they do try!) but we have a tray feeder for them. Mainly, I was concerned about getting a feeder which was durable and easy to keep basically clean, and this one fits the bill perfectly! Also, I like that it holds a lot of seed so I don't have to worry about filling it as often.
