I loved the look of this feeder, but I was a little hesitant about birds really using it. Boy, was I ever wrong! They are in love with the snowman (as am I). I just looked out my front door and they were piled all over it eating away at the sunflower seeds I had just put in there. It kind of reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, but in a good way. Just one note: I hung it on a pole in the middle of the yard. I don't know how, but some really smart squirrel got onto it. Maybe he parachuted from a plane - it's a mystery. But here's the important part: the snowman held up to this brutal attack. I'm off to buy another one for the back yard.

Really cute idea but within the first 2 hours, the nose, an eye and a button were on the ground. Just short prongs folded into the mesh hold the features on and they didn't stand up well to the birds.

Although cute, be careful to note dimensions. I did not and was surprised how small it was. Also, squirrels were able to rip off the eyes on day one, so the accents are not that sturdy. Overall, looks cute hanging outside my window, ( I reapplied eyes), but not sure it was worth $20 something.
