When I first opened the package, I wan't sure about this feeder. It wasn't as sturdy as I had hoped, but for the price, what did I expect?

Once I filled the feeder and placed it in my backyard, I found out just how great this feeder really is! The birds in my backyard LOVE this feeder. I have used this same seed in another feeder and the birds would visit a few times a day but now that it is in this feeder, they can't get enough. I have birds at the feeder every time I look out the window, throughout the whole day. A pair of cardinals has been visiting frequently, too. I have had a greater quantity of birds and a greater variety of birds than previously (with using the same seed in a different type of feeder).

The tray on the bottom seems to prevent more seed from falling to the ground and allows larger birds, such as cardinals, to feed. The perches are just right for small birds such as finches and sparrows. Birds such as starlings (which chase away nicer birds)...Read more

Easy to fill and the birds liked it. Unless you can keep the squirrels out, this feeder will be torn up in a couple days. They ate out the plastic cups that stop the seed from falling out. Now when I try to fill it, all the seeds fall to the ground

Arrived damaged.... Missing perch/port..
Otherwise made of cheap, thin plastic..
Need short stainless screw to hold base together.
Plastic tabs designed to hold everything together would fail after filling with seed.
Do not recommend.
