Well made item. Starlings can't get to the suet which is exactly what I wanted. Takes a few weeks to a couple of months before birds can figure out how to use so be patient.

What a waste of money. The birds never found it and it did not do what it was advertised to do. Criters got to it before the birds. Nice looking though if you want a tree ornament and the quality was good.

My old cage suet feeder always had woodpeckers and other suet loving birds fighting to get at the suet cakes. With this feeder they wouldn't touch it even though it hung on the same pole using the same suet cakes. I gave up on it after 2 months and went back to a cage style feeder and they were again fighting to get at the suet cakes. It is a shame because the feeder is nicely constructed but what good is it if the birds won't feed on it.
