This review is from: Saucer Hummingbird Feeder 16oz (Lawn & Patio) This is similar to the more expensive saucer-shaped hummer feeders sold in wild bird supplies shops for about double the price. I like that it is mostly green; it blends in in the yard better. This shape hummingbird feeder is seriously the best...super easy to clean, not a million nooks and crannies and small parts to scrub, easy to see when it needs refilling. I have had this up through a couple hurricanes and it moves but does not fall, so I guess it's aerodynamic too! (YES, at the end of the summer when they're beefing up for migration, the hummers DO surprisingly feed during a hurricane!!) 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Felicia "ohai!" (Amesbury, MA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Saucer Hummingbird Feeder 16oz (Lawn & Patio) I have bought both this, and the Droll Yankee saucer style hummingbird feeders, and I prefer this one. The green color blends in better in my yard, and the hummingbirds pay just as much attention to these feeders as they do the bright red ones. This one is easier to assemble - just screw the brass hanging hook into the top to secure it to the bottom. The ant moat effectively keeps ants out of the nectar. Easy to clean, easy to fill, and a decent price. I'd buy this again. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Saucer Hummingbird Feeder 16oz (Lawn & Patio) This feeder is so easy to clean, and that's what you want, because other feeders that I've had were a little more intricate than this. They didn't come apart completely, so you couldn't tell if there were bugs stuck in them. This is so simple, yet it's the best one I've ever had. The price is awesome and it's really cute too. If I were a hummingbird, I'd love coming to this!!! |
