to my back yard feeder. My triumphant moment would soon be replaced by expletives that would make mother nature cringe. The grackles have grown comfortable with a quick upside down hang and like the marauding pirates of the flight world that they are, they devour the suet cake in a matter of day's. They've also grown more brazen as I step outside not leaving until I launch a frisbee, soccer ball or any other object that will serve as a willing projectile toward their general direction.. Aghhh, curse these evil birds from a Hitchcock novel that have gotten the better of me. One day your time will come, my feathery foes....... :) 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Single Cake Upside Down Suet Feeder w/Hanging Cable I bought one of these to discourage starlings as they are advertised that starlings will not eat from them. That is a lie. Starlings might take a day or two but they will figure it and devour your suet and chase away all the other birds. If you are buying this to get rid of starlings, save your money and buy something else. These don't work. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Single Cake Upside Down Suet Feeder w/Hanging Cable I bought this bird feeder for a friend of mine who had starlings devouring all her suet cakes. She loves it! The starlings don't like these feeders, so they left and the woodpeckers are back. |
