I have tried several different products to entice the orioles that travel through my yard. They did not respond well to feeders with fresh fruit or liquid oriole nectar. However, I heard/read that orioles love jelly, so I bought one of these hanging jar feeders. I'm so glad I did! I have to refill all 3 or my jars twice a week to keep up with the birds! Point blank - orioles like sweets; and GRAPE jelly is a favorite!! I love these feeders so much that I bought one for my mother in law, recommended them to bird enthusiasts I know; and I even bought myself a 3rd one recently!! If you don't get orioles eating out of these, then you are probably not using the right type of jelly/jam (you need GRAPE!!) or have it in a bad location - try moving it around. This is by far one of the simplest and best products!!

Bought one of these last spring, as I had been seeing Baltimore Orioles at my hummingbird feeders. I found that all this really attracted was ants, as the Orioles continued to go to the hummingbird feeders. I took this down after a month of little action to it. Looks cute though.
