The bird feeder is specially designed feeder for only chickadees, small woodpeckers, titmouse, nuthatches, goldfinch and other small birds. Locking lid comes completely off for easy filling and cleaning. Other small bird feeders have very small filling openings, which makes filling them difficult and cleaning nearly impossible. Filling and cleaning is a snap with clinger only. Holds 2 or 3 times more than other small bird feeders which often run out quickly. Heavy U.V. Resistant, thick plastic construction much stronger than other small bird feeders to give consumers extra years of use and enjoyment. Feeders come boxed, but a beautiful full color tube wrap will sell them off the shelf for you when displayed out of the box. Large capacity holds 3.5 to 4 cups of seed. Available in red color.

I own this bird feeder and it really works well. The big birds don't like it but the small birds love it. It's very easy to fill and clean and it holds a lot of seed. Looks good too. It works better than feeders costing 3 times as much. I replaced my tube feeder with this and bought an extra for the day it breaks although it's built of heavy wall plastic and should last for years...Chickadees, Titmice love it and I've seen woodpeckers at it.

I purchased this because I'm tired of giving all my seed to the grackles that flock to my feeder. This one makes them work a little harder to get the seed, but get it they do--one way or another. It's true that they can't perch comfortably, so they swing back & forth so the seed falls to the ground. Also when they fly, the feeder tips and more seed spills. So it's a nice little feeder, it's just not as successful at keeping the greedy birds away.

This is a nice little feeder and being so small it does
tend to keep the larger jays and blackbirds away.
I would recommend it.
