Squirrel proof yes- birds happy yes- it does get cloged up somtimes
The shells from the eated seeds tend to clod the large opening
I need to expirament with other seed types
I currently have a wire hanger unbent by my feeder and use it to free it up now and then no big deal just needs to be done
Very easy to add seed a good design - just not perfect
It is a very nice feeder and I recomend it!!!

I purchased this feeder on sale at Home Depot for $20.00. I loved it at first, then the spring rain began, and I had to unclog the feeding tray in between rainy days. I live in New England, so snow is quite common. Yesterday we received 20" of snow, and I had to unclog the feeder four times. The hood of the feeder does not properly protect the feeding tray from rain and snow.
