Nothing wrong with them, they're just sunflower seeds. Afterwards I realized I could have picked up something very similar locally for a bit less money. As another reviewer stated , they can be messy. I would buy seeds without shells if this was important, for instance if feeding on a balcony or patio. But with the convenience of on line ordering, a decent product overall.

The birds love it. but because it has so many non-shelled sunflower seeds, it creates a mess.
