This review is from: Stovall 1FP Small Hanging Bird Feeder with Perforated Plastic Bottom (Lawn & Patio)
This is a replacement feeder for our much loved bird feeding area. The old feeder was a "brand-x". It always leaked, food was often moldy....This new Stovall feeder is awesome. It is well constructed, doesn't leak (so far) and the birds love it. The roof has a nice over-hang, enough to keep the food dry, but not so much that it scares the birds. There is an inverted V structure along the inside base of the feeder, so that the feed doesn't "mound" in the center and get hard and moldy. I would buy another in a heartbeat if we had a place to hang it! Definitely a good purchase. Kudos to Stovall for thoughtful design and terrific construction!

The Stovall small hanging feeder isn't as small as you think. It is very sturdy and holds plenty of seed, which I was looking for cause I feed alot of birds. The only improvment I found that could be made is to close the gap between where the birds perch and the seed tray. Alot of seed falls out in this open area. I remodeled mine by closing that gap with a perfectly cut piece of wood for both sides.

This bird feeder is beautifully designed. A large roof, protective end plates and perforated plastic floor keep the seed dry. The diverter built into the hopper floor ensures a smooth flow into the troughs. Dual perching rails on both sides accommodate a variety of birds, large and small, and minimize the loss of seed. The construction is high quality, and the materials are sturdy and weatherproof.
