Well, the color was right anyway. Here's the deal: Our backyard is full of bluejays that kick the birdseed out of our flat birdfeeder PLATE. So we wanted a BOWL that the birds couldn't kick the seed out of. We were happy with the BOWL we thought we were going to get from the seller. We thought it was going to be a BOWL because the description said BOWL and the picture was of a BOWL. So good, we're getting a BOWL. So we were pretty disappointed when the package arrived and we got another PLATE, not the BOWL we had paid for and that was shown in the picture. We wanted a BOWL. Not a PLATE. What we got was not what is shown. Hope that's clear. Not sure why they sent us a PLATE when they said we were getting a BOWL. Not sure what we'll do yet, probably return it, but we won't buy from the seller again.

this is a nice little bird feeder with a large hook at the top which makes it easy to mount and the color is very pleasing to the eye.

This is a beautiful addition to your yard. I hung this outside my window and have enjoyed the birds feeding in the snow. It is more of a grapefruit ruby red than Christmas red, and looks nice in nature. The chains look nicely aged and seem to hang about 15 inches. Nothing stingy or cheap looking here.
