This is a well-crafted and functional wood work. I do suggest a coat of polyurethane unless you really want it to gray naturally. The squirrels don't give a hoot about the cute face but it is fun watching them hang on precariously as they nosh on the corn. After it dries the cobs usually end up on the lawn and then we know its time to reload. Cute item, nice gift.
