It takes beautiful pictures and functions perfectly. Operation of the camera is easy: they can download the pictures to their computer or to their digital picture frame; or they can hook the camera to their TV and watch a slide show of the latest snaps. I wish I had gotten this camera for them sooner. Buy the mounting arm also in order to maximize the camera's usefulness. The output is pretty darn good and I would highly recommend it. I do ony have one small issue with it, and that I have to take it down from the tree to swap out the card and the batteries (not so with the plantcam - which I also purchased for timelapse).
