The copper top suet feeder is a flimsily made piece of junk. The copper top is no more than a piece of copper flashing. Add the cost of the product to shipping and handling charges and discover how outrageously over priced this item is. I could have done much better at a brick and mortar store and wish I had. I would have returned it but didn't want to hassle the additional costs, so I cut my losses and stuck it up on my porch. The product did not even include a hanger, if you can imagine. The birds are totally embarassed to be seen hanging out at it.

I have had this feeder for about 4 months now.
Mine did come with a hanger that works well to keep it up on the branch.
I run it through the dishwasher about every two weeks or so on Sani Wash to keep it clean for the birds, roof and all. So far it has held up well.
I like the roof as it keeps the suet from being beaten away at by the rain.
It is a good looking feeder that is dishwasher hardy and does it's job of holding suet for birds to eat.
No complaints :-)
