Woodlink COPTHISTLE Coppertop Thistle Screen Feeder

I recently bought, then returned this feeder. Yes, it is made out of quality materials and yes it looks very nice, but the mesh is too fine for the finches to comfortably get seed out. I had this feeder up for a week and only a few goldfinches fed on it. Most of them would rather wait in the branches for an open space on my tube feeder, even going to another feeder for black oil sunflower seeds rather than use this feeder. I watched them move around this feeder looking for available seed, then give up and go to the other feeders. The little clip to hold the top in place is cheap and useless. For the amount of $$ you pay for this you can get a much better feeder or multiple feeders of a cheaper, but more effective style.

This is a very good looking high quality product. The large capacity reduces the times it must be refilled. The birds love it!

This feeder was given as a Christmas Gift. My Daughter-in-Law loves it and the birds in her backyard love it. Well worth the price. May buy one for myself.
