It measures 8.25" x 7" x 7.5" tall, with a hole size of 1", and comes with a cord attached, ready to hang in your yard and attract the pretty little wrens! Male wrens are known to build nests in more than one house and when the female arrives she will choose the house she likes, sometimes rebuilding the nest. The incubation time for the house wren is approximately 14 days and the young wrens will usually nest for 12-18 days. Both parents feed the young chicks, with the male providing food for the female during incubation.
